Dat dah dah DAH!

A whole new level of Super Dorkdom has been reached. Hilarious Rob Cockerham has a public spreadsheet that he's invited people to add links to. I'd never used Google Spreadsheets before and I'm delighted to say it's very easy to use. There is a side bar with a chat window that shows you the gmail id of each person who is currently viewing the spreadsheet and an area to enter text - you know, like you haven't seen a chat window before.

ANYWAY. I chatted for a few minutes with some of the other viewers and I just started to crack up! What in the world could be more dorky than chatting on a public spreadsheet? Oh my god, that was so good.

I really can't think of a safer, sweeter, and arguably more intelligent social environment than that.

Super Big Video Fun

Ok, wait.

Maybe it's not totally me. We just went through the calibration test and mine is not that off, however my laptop doesn't have a contrast setting and isn't responding to the gamma adjustment. Lame! Darren's was really, really off though. Now he's complaining that everything looks washed out, but at least we're seeing pretty much the same thing.

So I knew my monitor was pretty shitty, but I didn't realize it was TOTAL CRAP!

I just looked at my blog on Darren's computer and it looks hideous. Why didn't anybody TELL ME??? On my monitor all the colors are lovely and muted, but it appears that they are actually garishly bright and overly saturated.

So that has got to mean that all the photos I have been posting are also overly saturated and offensive.

WHAAAAA!!!!!!!!

I'm really depressed about this.

Valentines

Here are the valentines that Jackson and I worked on together for his class. He designed the arrangement of pieces and did the faces himself. I did most of the glueing and the lettering.

Worky worky, III

Well, I'm done! I actually finished a few days ago but have been catching my breath since then. In fact, I'm too preoccupied to download the pictures of the bedroom from my camera right now, but believe me, it looks great! I'm super busy pulling some data together for an exciting new site we're working on that I am looking forward to spreading the word about.
